X AMBASSADORS RIP IT UP AT ROUGH TRADE

The night started off with singer-songwriter Madi Diaz and her three piece band amping up the sold out crowd at Rough Trade in Brooklyn. She was celebrating her new album, Phantom, which was recently released. She said it felt like the prom she never had…being she was home schooled in Amish Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

Madi may have energized the crowd a little too much for British blues rocker Jamie N Commons stripped down set of him and his keyboard player. He actually had to hush the crowd for one of his more romantic songs. He finished with his hit “Rumble And Sway”, getting the room ready for what was to come.

X Ambassadors took the stage excited to be home in NY. Originally from Ithaca New York, brothers Sam and Casey Harris formed the four-piece alternative rock band, and now call Brooklyn home. Their high energy set was capped off with Jamie N Commons coming back on stage for a few songs including the hit “Jungle” which has been remixed by KDrew. There’s even a version featuring Jay Z that you should definitely check out if you haven’t already. This tour is just kicking off, so if you get the chance, check these guys out.
