Local guitar band, Blue & Gold, released ‘In My Head’ this week – the first new song since the release of their 2013 debut EP. The power-chord heavy jam is also the first new song released that will be featured on the bands upcoming album, which they’ve yet to announce a release date for.

Like most of their material, the song features vocals from both sides of the Chloe/Alex spectrum. Their grungy guitar tones bring back that darker sound that bands loved back in the early 90s in the mix of grunge and hard rock. Not surprising, as both Chloe and Alex are huge fans of Nirvana and other bands from that era. Add a few fiery guitar solos and thunderous drumming from G.G. Gonzalez and you have that simple yet potent mixture that makes up that powerful Blue & Gold sound.
