We first caught sight of the local rocker Nadia Kazmi when she opened one of our shows at BK Bazaar last month, where her and her band’s unique covers of ‘I Am The Walrus’ and ‘Red Right Hand’ immediately drew our attention. Now she’s go a new video out. Featuring the heavy guitar-driven single ‘Dime Store Punks’, the rock noir style video features the singer, covering her 2013 single, which will be re-released on her upcoming EP. The indie-punk rock song showcases Nadia’s style of rock that’s beginning to take over the Brooklyn music scene with a shot of whiskey and a punch to the neck, yup the neck. This most excellent video was produced by A76 productions in NYC.
