The leaves begin to turn and subtle signs of the change in seasons start to appear. The wind freshens and the sky turns a deeper blue, the light regains a certain clarity; we usually despair but I adore this season because it forms some form of rebirth.

We can say the same for this brand new band, Color Guard which came to together this summer; we can definitely agree that each season brings something amazing. With the same band lineup of the indie rock outfit, The Stationary Set, they have transformed themselves into Color Guard.

The band’s first single “In Your Bones,” is a beautifully written and upbeat track, that will go perfectly with your morning coffee and is also produced by veteran producer Andy Baldwin (St. Lucia, Haerts).

Vocalist Andrew Lutes said – “When we began thinking of what to lead off with, this song seemed to emerge as the front runner early on. The whole EP has been much more of a collaborative labor than anything else we had done musically- due in part to where we all are in our lives- and In Your Bones is an urgent message, a type of fight song for positive change that we all identify strongly with.”
