PEARL JAM ANNOUNCE 2018 DATES IN SEATTLE, MISSOULA, CHICAGO & BOSTON

If you’re a Pearl Jam fan, or even just a rocker, there’s almost no way you haven’t heard the news already. But just in case, here’s something worth screaming about: Pearl Jam are hitting the U.S. with headlining concerts in four cities this year. First announcing the Home Shows, which will kick things off in Seattle at Safeco Field on August 8th and 10th, they’ve now revealed the Away Shows, with subsequent dates in Missoula, Chicago, and Boston.

This being their 28th year of live performance, it’s sure to be a special run of shows for the band, who also have a bit of history in each city. Jeff Ament will return to his home state of Montana for the Missoula show, which takes place on August 13th at Washington-Grizzly Stadium. And Eddie returns to his roots for the following shows at Wrigley Field in Chicago, on August 18th and 20th. They’ll finish off with two shows at Fenway Park in Boston on September 2nd and 4th, where they’ve been known to pull epic, insanely-participatory crowds in past years.

Be sure to note the ticket process this year, because it’s a little bit different than before, and is now tied to your mobile device. General public tickets will be sold through a presale via Ticketmaster Verified Fan. Fans will need to register for this in advance, and can do so here. Only fans who have been verified and invited to the presale will receive an access code to shop for tickets. Registration closes on Tuesday, February 6th at 4pm.

And finally, the dates you’ve been skimming for: Verified Fan presale begins on Friday, February 16th at 10am venue local time. Ten Club Ticket presale for current members (as of January 23rd 2018) begins on February 7th at 10am PT. Then, a remaining, limited number of tickets will be released through a general sale on February 21st at 10am local time through each venue’s official ticket vendor. $3 of each ticket ($10 for Seattle) is a charitable contribution to the Vitalogy Foundation.

You can find all the details at pearljam.com, and we’d recommend obsessively memorizing them. Don’t miss out on the chance to see Eddie, Stone, Mike, Jeff, Matt and Boom absolutely destroying a show or two (…or seven).
