We are excited to share the brand new video from L.A.’s Squid Cult entitled “Baby Blue” today. The song starts slowly with some jangly guitar as the deep vocals and pounding bass work their way in a few measures in; which in turn gets the feet tapping and head bobbing as the zany video plays. “Baby Blue” fully gets going a minute in as neat chord-progressions and catchy lyrics shine the rest of the way.
The California rockers that just formed last year, label themselves as “Slimy Rock” on their socials and we couldn’t agree more as the music is gritty, in the best way possible of course and should serve them well in this age of over-produced tracks. We look forward to more tunes from Squid Cult and will be dropping their first record on 8-3-18 entitled All Boys Leave Home Someday via Septarian Records.
