GRACIE ABRAMS WOWS BOSTON ON HER 'GOOD RIDDANCE' TOUR

Hours before doors even opened at House Of Blues in Boston across from Fenway Park, the line stretched down Lansdowne Street, past Cask ‘N Flagon and across the David Ortiz Bridge into Kenmore Square. Frankly, I’ve never seen a line that big for any show at the venue.

Gracie Abrams, fresh off releasing her debut album “Good Riddance,” didn’t disappoint. After local band Tiny Habits serenaded the crowd with their acoustic set, the energy was palpable as the crowd sang along to songs during changeover. Finally, they erupted when Gracie came out.

Already on her third headlining tour, she’s mastered connecting with the crowd. Emotions ran throughout the night, from her opener “Where do we go now?” through her finale “Augusta.” She even sat down at her red keyboard for some more intimate songs.

With a full house, one can only expect the venues will keep growing larger and larger for the star in the making. After this headlining run, she’ll join Taylor Swift for The Eras Tour on select dates. There’s no reason to think, with her exceptional vocals and songwriting, Gracie Abrams can’t chart her own path to selling out arenas in the future.
