It’s finally feeling like spring outside so don’t be afraid to venture out and check out the best shows of the week via doNYC, we call ’em Pancake Picks.

The Temperance Movement @ Mercury Lounge: Sometimes you just want to see a good old-fashioned rock and roll show, enter The Temperance Movement who is sure to kick it up at Mercury Lounge for the early show.

The Menzingers @ Baby’s All Right: The Philadelphia band is quickly making waves and with a new record due out next week, this show should be filled with new material.

The Mowgli’s @ The Music Hall Of Williamsburg: Is a multi-faceted band that brings good vibes to their live perfomances

Secret Someones + Paris Monster @ The Knitting Factory: Secret Someones have been making quite the splash lately in the city, being compared to Weezer. Paris Monster is a must see live act!

Spirit Plate + Radical Dads @ Rough Trade: Spirit Plate is a newer band but they have a full-world style, reminiscent of Paul Simon.

The Roofers Union @ Mercury Lounge: Combining many different genres The Roofers Union is known to put on killer live sets

The Bayside Tigers @ Le Poisson Rouge: Because we still have a crush on Kelly Kapowski…this band plays all your favorite 90’s tunes, if you can get out of detention on time.

Spirit Family Reunion @ Music Hall Of Williamsburg: Take a step back in time, grab yourself a whiskey or two and head over to the Music Hall for some good ole’ Americana that you can stomp your feet to.

Kim Gordon @ Rough Trade: KIM GORDON ‘NUF SAID

Whiskey Bitches @ Cake Shop: Whiskey Bitches are the prototypical punk band in the city, with short ditties about drinking to get drunk, we love this band and think you will too.

Joey Bada$$ @ Terminal 5: The young rapper is touring on his brand new record released in January. His smooth delivery will have you swaying all night long.

Whiskey Shivers @ Mercury Lounge: This “down home” band is the perfect way to end the long week.
