It’s the week that summer finally arrives and we can make easy excuses to day-drink while daydreaming about all the shows that will happen soon. Sort out your musical calendar with our handy Pancake Picks below.

She Keeps Bees @ Rough Trade – The Brooklyn rock band is back for a one off gig before they hit California for a few shows…don’t miss out.

Alvarez Kings & Born Cages @ Knitting Factory – Really fantastic indie-pop bill at the friendly Williamsburg venue with Alvarez Kings from the UK and NYC’s own, Born Cages.

The Regrettes @ Rough Trade – The young punk-rock band out of LA will have Rough Trade thrashing around with music from their newest album Feel Your Feelings Fool!.

Secret Weapons @ Webster Hall Studio – Secret Weapons are back from touring with some well known bands and will bring their incendiary live show to the nice small room at Webster Hall.

Black Knights @ Brooklyn Bazaar – Like Wu-Tang Clan? Then get your ass to the Bazaar to check out this affiliated group to the legends. Don’t be surpised if one or members of the WU get on-stage with Crisis Tha Sharpshooter and Rugged Monk.

Jakubi & Ula Ruth @ Brooklyn Bowl – If you want to feel good and dance the night away, head on over to the cool venue for a night of funk and R&B.

Walker Lukens & Thomas Wynn @ Webster Hall Studio – Enjoy some fine southern bands with Walker Lukens and Thomas Wynn that both combine sensible country-rock with pop rhythms.

Dirty Heads @ Coney Island Amphitheater – Grab all the edibles you can find, get your best tie-dyed shirt out and head on down to the beach for what will be a breezy good time at the amphitheater.

Cloud Cult @ MHOW – Cloud Cult, hailing from Minnesota, bring their Indie Pop-rock music stylings to the Music Hall for what will be a memorable night.

Cheerleader @ Knitting Factory – Cool Indie-rock band from Philly that has neat hooks and harmonies.

Brazilian Girls @ MHOW – While no one in this band is actually Brazilian, they do however, bring a groovy experimental electronic and infectious sound to their spirited live sets.

Can’t Swim @ Knitting Factory – End the week with a killer noise-rock band from NJ that will thrash and wail all over the Knitting Factory.
