RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE & RUN THE JEWELS ANNOUNCE TOUR

Wads of cash falling from the sky would fail to excite us as much as the fact that Rage Against The Machine are reuniting. It’s a perfect dream come true, and that dream now has a nice new twist: they’re embarking on a global tour – the Public Service Announcement tour – with support from another favorite of ours, Run The Jewels. For readers in the area, cheers to two dates at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on August 10th and 11th – following Buffalo, NY on July 27th and Camden, NJ on August 7th. Having just learned that Rage Against The Machine will be headlining Boston Calling this year, we’re freaking out about suddenly having multiple chances to see Zack de la Rocha, Tim Commerford, Tom Morello, and Brad Wilk reunited – plus some quality time with Killer Mike and El-P coming up this year. In case you weren’t already planning on it, we cannot stress enough that you need to experience this tour with us and grab tickets. Set a reminder right now for this Thursday, February 13th, 11am local time and hit RATM’s site or RTJ’s site when the time comes.

As you await the chance to pounce on tickets, you might dig some related reading, and we’ve got you covered there. In the Rage category, check out our recap of Tom Morello’s solo show in NYC, Prophets of Rage in Brooklyn, our backstage interview with Tim Commerford, and that time that Zack joined Run The Jewels on stage in Queens. Further reading for Jewel Runners: our coverage of RTJ in NYC, their line of craft beers, and their latest killer record, Run The Jewels 3. We’ll keep you posted on Run The Jewels 4, which is two years in the making and reportedly coming this spring.
